Thank you for joining us at the 2025 Junior Scholars Conference hosted by the Northern Illinois University College of Law at the Loyola University College of Law. We are especially grateful to the 26 Junior Scholars who will be presenting papers and offering feedback as well as all the Senior Scholars who will be offering feedback. We expect it to be an engaging, informative, and enjoyable two days.

Schedule

Friday, September 26
Check-in will begin at 8am (with breakfast). The welcome address will be at 9am. The final session will be over by 5:15pm and dinner at Pippin’s Tavern will start at 6:30pm.

Saturday, September 27
Breakfast will begin at 8am and the first papers of the day start at 9am. The concluding remarks will be at 11:45am.

Papers

If you are a Senior Scholar commenting on a paper, you should have received it via email. All of the participating scholars can access all of the paper on the Conference Dropbox. Please note: Your email address will have to be authorized for you to see the papers. If you need access, please contact juniorscholars@niu.edu.

Location

The Conference is being held at the Loyola University School of Law located at 25 E. Pearson St., Chicago, IL, 60611. Parking for a fee is available in garages nearby (e.g., off of Superior between Dearborn and State, SP+ Parking off of Chestnut, at Water Tower Place). If taking the CTA, the Chicago stop on the Red Line is the closest station. Dinner on Friday night will be at Pippin’s Tavern (39 E Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL, 60611).
